Day 1: Arrival in Anchorage, Alaska
Welcome to Alaska! Arrive in Anchorage and transfer to your hotel.

 

Day 2: Denali via Talkeetna - Denali, Alaska
Included meals: breakfast, welcome dinner
Travel to the historic village of Talkeetna to board the Alaska Railroad. Enjoy views of the Alaskan wilderness and pass over Hurricane Gulch en route to Denali National Park, where you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner with your group upon arrival.

 

Day 3: Sightseeing tour of Denali National Park
Included meals: breakfast
A full day of sightseeing with your guide immerses you in the scenery, flora, and fauna of Denali National Park.
* Look for wildlife such as grizzly bears, moose, wolves, caribou, eagles, and sheep
* See Denali North America’s tallest mountain (weather permitting)

 

Day 4: Transfer to Anchorage via Talkeetna & Wasilla 
Included meals: breakfast, dinner
On your way to Anchorage, visit two historic towns to learn more about Alaskan culture and traditions.
* First, stop in Talkeetna to enjoy free time to shop and eat downtown
* Continue on to Wasilla to tour the Iditarod Headquarters and museum to learn about the famous race
* Visit the dog kennel and choose to head out on a short dog sled ride (weather and time permitting)
End your day in Anchorage, and enjoy an included dinner.

 

Day 5: Train ride to Seward
Included meals: breakfast
Hop aboard the scenic Alaskan Railroad to travel to Seward.
* Ride along the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet and through the Kenai Peninsula
* View massive glaciers and towering waterfalls
Spend the rest of the day exploring Seward on your own.


Day 6: Kenai Fjords National Park - Cruise 
Included meals: breakfast, dinner, lunch
Embark on a full-day cruise through the waterways of Kenai Fjords National Park to experience the panoramic glacial views the area is known for.
* Float along the pristine waters on the Kenai Peninsula
* Try to spot wildlife, such as birds and whales
* Enjoy an included boxed lunch
Board your cruise ship this evening and sit down for an included dinner.

 

Day 7: Day at sea - Cruise 
Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Enjoy a day at sea reveling in your ship’s luxurious accommodations or simply watching the scenery from the deck.
* Enjoy an included lunch aboard the ship
* Cruise around the Hubbard Glacier, North America’s largest tidewater glacier
Sit down for an included dinner aboard the ship this evening.

 

Day 8: Free day in Juneau - Cruise 
Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Dock in Juneau, Alaska’s capital city, and enjoy an included lunch aboard the ship. 
Spend a free day in Juneau, often referred to as “little San Francisco” for its perfect blend of cosmopolitan city sophistication and frontier town spirit, or add an excursion.
Sit down for an included dinner aboard the ship this evening.
Enjoy an optional excursion: Juneau & the Mendenhall Glacier
(3 hours, departs in the morning)

Day 9: Free day in Skagway - Cruise 
Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Dock in Skagway and enjoy an included lunch aboard the ship.
Then, spend a free day in Skagway, the starting point for prospectors during the Klondike Gold Rush of the 1890s and the northernmost point of Alaska’s Inside Passage.
Sit down for an included dinner aboard the ship this evening.

Day 10: Free day in Icy Strait Point - Cruise 
Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Keep a lookout for humpback, minke, and orca whales and enjoy an included lunch as you cruise the Icy Straits to Icy Strait Point, your port of call for the day.
Sit down for an included dinner aboard the ship this evening.

Day 11: Free day in Ketchikan - Cruise 
Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Dock in Ketchikan and enjoy an included lunch aboard the ship.
Spend a day at your leisure in Ketchikan, the ancestral home of the Tlingit people and gateway to some of Alaska’s most sublime scenery and wildlife, or add an excursion.
Sit down for an included dinner aboard the ship this evening.
Enjoy an optional excursion: Ketchikan & Totem Bight State Park
(3 hours, departs in the morning)

Day 12: Cruising the Inside Passage
Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Sail the southern section of Alaska’s Inside Passage, a collection of waterways, inlets, fjords, and bays.
* View the region’s glaciers, several mountain ranges, and secluded isles
* Enjoy an included lunch aboard the ship
* Look out for bald eagles as you cruise
Sit down for an included dinner aboard the ship this evening.

 

Day 13: Disembarkation & sightseeing tour of Vancouver, British Columbia
Included meals: breakfast, farewell dinner
Disembark in Vancouver, British Columbia, Western Canada’s largest city. 
Today, tour the multicultural, cosmopolitan city of Vancouver with your guide before enjoying a free afternoon for exploration of your own.

  • Drive through downtown Vancouver, passing the Roman-inspired Public Library

  • See the historic Gastown district

  • Make your way to the waterfront where you’ll see Canada Place, a sail-inspired building, which houses the Vancouver Convention Center and World Trade Center

  • Stroll through Stanley Park and Queen Elizabeth Park to take in views of the city

  • End your sightseeing tour with free time to explore Granville Island, located directly across the water from downtown Vancouver

Then, sit down to a farewell dinner with your group.

Day 14: Departure - Flight Home
